BMW
Backing plate Installation
Overview
This install routes cool air, from the front duct inlets to the brake discs, on BMW 1,2,3,4 and M series cars. Expect more stable rotor temps over 20–30 minute sessions, when combined with appropriate pads and fluid.
Safety: Support the car on stands, chock wheels, and follow the BMW workshop manual. Verify hose/tire/line clearance at full lock and full bump before driving.
